BUILDING A BETTER BODY

You guys have motivated me so much to wanting to keep researching ways to improve you guys health.

LETS GET BETTER!

#1 I would like to point out, if PROTEIN were the key to great health and fitness..then we wouldn't need anything else...thats where an individual becomes a MUSCLE HEAD-"been-there-done-that"

#2 We all have come to a conclusion that every thing we do focuses on building a better-stronger-body!

#3 People today in the united states start experiencing joint problems-torn ligaments-partially torn tendons once passed the age of 38.

#4 ways of improving or preventing such a disease..stretching-quality intake of nutrition-and as most of us are on joint supplements. Very good!

#5 What we don't feel or experience now doesn't mean that its not existing in our bodies on a daily basis. It is called 'acute-inflammation'.

#6 ok so when we workout right, we tear down muscles-tendons-ligaments which create inflammation=slowing down or shortage of blood flow to a specific area.  so yes your healing process is on delay.

#7 "I dont know about you guys but by the time I'm passed 70 I do not want to be experiencing a joint and tendon issue when I have been doing all that I can do in my power NOW to prevent such a thing.

#8 yes I am speaking of repairing tendons..

#9 Ask yourself..is my DAILY-FOOD intake have any correlation to healing my tendons?

#10 People, if the tendons are damaged in any way, how in the heck are we doing to build quality muscle at the RATE it is suppose to develop?...

FOODS THAT HELP HEAL:
Fruits particularly high in vitamin C include oranges, grapefruit, strawberries, kiwi, black currants, cherries, guava, mangoes and papaya.
Additional valuable sources include tomatoes and tomato products, spinach, broccoli, Brussels sprouts and green bell peppers. Less colorful vegetables, such as cabbage, cauliflower and potatoes -- with skin -- provide modest amounts of vitamin C.

For potentially similar benefits, consume fish rich in omega-3 fats, such as salmon, albacore tuna, herring, lake trout, flounder, mackerel, halibut and sardines.

Vitamins C and E are advantageous for tendons and ligaments, as they are among the building blocks of collagen, the tough, fibrous tissue that gives these structures their strength
Manganese is an important mineral in the building of collagen fibers, which form the basic structure for tendons and ligaments

Bromelain, an enzyme found in pineapple, is another anti-inflammatory compound. Because it is especially effective in reducing inflammation following injury, it may be helpful in treating sprains and strains of the tendons or ligaments.

Incorrect Posture, Bulging Disc & Herniated Disc

The many years 'WE' as individuals have experienced some time in our life stiffness in some parts of our back-tightness of muscles-weak stomach muscles.  As we know anything that happens has an effect on other areas of the body in which it does NOT just stay in on area.  Straight to the point..."is weak stomach muscles-tightness in lower back effects of a minor bulging disc or the cause of a bulging disc which can cause a disc to become herniated?"

Scary for all we know as basic knowledge that the brain must send signals through the spinal cord so that it can tell other areas of the body how it must function.  Being that the core is so weak these days, could it possibly be that we are experiencing some form of disc being suppressed or out of place? I Vaughn Parker believe so. Which is why it is very important to approach our health not just by weight lifting or eating right but by also giving out bodies time to relax and heal from the constant devastation we put our bodies through such as the daily routines we go through daily even though it seems easy but thats because our bodies have adapted to that regimen.

Which comes to my fully understanding of why the Chinese and Japanese culture in the east during their lunch break have Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes to alleviate any diseases the body may be producing during long hours of stress from work which has a great effect on the human spine which leads up to the brain.

STRESS PRODUCERS:

  • sitting all day
  • driving all day
  • standing all day
  • lifting up things all day
"And then we come to the gym to lift weights...oh hell no! which is why in my perspective 89% of the people in gyms do not get results, something is messed up chemically in their body etc. Another topic for another day"
"we get the picture"

STRESS REDUCERS:

  • YOGA!
  • TAI CHI/ QI GONG!
  • MEDITATION!
  • HOT TEA!
  • HOT BATHS!
  • LONG WALKS NEAR TREES WITHOUT YOUR CELL PHONE!
  • for those who won't do yoga or stretch..GREAT SEX IN EVERY POSITION!
  • DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE!
  • ALSO GOING TO SEE YOUR TRAINER! ME VAUGHN PARKER

Get Knowledge-Wisdom, Most Importantly Understanding-Fasting

Over time, toxins build up in the body as the result of the pollutants in the air we breathe, the chemicals in the food and water we consume, and other means.  Periodically, the body seeks to rid itself of these toxins and releases them from the tissues.  The toxins then enter the bloodstream, causing the body to experience a "low" or "down" cycle. During such a cycle, you may suffer from headaches, diarrhea, or depression.  Fasting is an effective and safe method of helping the body detoxify itself and move through this low cycle with greater speed and fewer symptoms. In fact, fasting is recommended for any illnesses, as it gives the body the rest it needs to recover.  Acute illnesses, colon disorders, allergies, and respiratory diseases are most responsive to fasting, while chronic degenerative diseases are the least responsive.  By relieving the body of the work of digesting foods, fasting permits the system to rid itself of toxins while facilitating healing.
But fasting is helpful not just in times of poor health or during the body's low cycles.  By fasting regularly, you give all of you organs a rest, and thus help reverse the aging process and live a longer healthier life.  During a fast, the following happens.
  • the natural process of toxin excretion continues. while the influx of new toxins is reduced.  This results in a reduction of total body toxicity.
  • the energy usually used for digestion is redirected to immune function, cell growth ("for those who want lean muscle and burn fat") and eliminatory processes.
  • The immune systems workload is greatly reduced, and the digestive tract is spared any inflammation due to allergic reactions to food. (when the belly is not in its natural state, inflammation caused from food or left over fecal matter build-up overtime)
  • Due to a lowering of serum fats that thins the blood, tissue oxygenation is increased and white blood cells are moved more efficiently.
  • Fat-stored chemicals, such as pesticides and drugs, are released.
  • Physical awareness and sensitivity to diet and surroundings are increased.
Due to these effects of fasting, a fast can help you heal with greater speed ; cleanse your liver, kidneys, and blood; help you lose excess weight and water; flush out toxins; clear the eyes and tongue; and cleanse the breath.  It is recommended that you fast atleast 3 days a month. and follow a 10 day fast atleast twice a year.
Depending on the length of the fast, it accomplishes different things. A three day fast helps the body rid itself of toxins and cleanses the blood.  A five day fast begins the process of healing and rebuilding the immune system.  A ten-day fast can take care of many problems before they arise and help to fight off illness, including the degenerative diseases that have become so common in our chemically polluted environment.

Do Not Lose Focus...

Focus: Close or narrow attention; concentration:
Narrow: limited in range or extent

           Concentration: intense mental application

As we all see the days are getting nicer, which means everyone will be outside looking to do something because its 'NICE' outside.  Ok so where were these people 'friends/family' when you were training through the winter?  Do NOT let them pull you off from your game plan.
  • people getting ready for thursday night drinks now-smh
  • people getting ready for friday night happy hour-still unhappy when looking at the mirror or scale
  • people getting ready for saturday night because either they were working on friday night and atleast want to make their weekend a blast
  • sunday they 'people' sleeping all day
  • Monday people tired hoping that its friday again
  • Wednesday come now they planning to have fun again

If anything or anyone is looking to tap into your training lifestyle-tap them right back out because they are not assisting your with your fitness goals.  It takes a specific focus to achieve something that you really want in this health and fitness lifestyle.  Remember this is a 'LIFESTYLE'...

I have a client where his girlfriend will punch him in the jaw if he does not get in shape or misses a session.  Let's excuse the fact that she'll hit him, but she gives him more than 100% support in training.  Understanding health is key to happiness-long living-strong-and being able to do fun things and constant healthy adrenaline pumping.

If anyone pulls your collar even an inch or a half an inch into doing something good for yourself. 'CHECK-THAT!'

NOW GET FOCUSED!

ARE YOU AFRAID OF DROWNING?...

IS A QUESTION MY TRAINER ASKED ME MONTHS AGO AND I THOUGHT HE LITERALLY MEANT SWIMMING...

What he was asking me was 'in that question'...am i afraid to FIGHT..in life...
When fighting, it is just like swimming..either you are going down or you are going to stay afloat...IN LIFE...

so did we all hit our goals yet?

Then we should be still fighting or coming up with a game plan that we can use to help us get there...
Things happen to us in life that we don't like..and i say 'PERFECT'..it damn sure lets us know we are still alive...doesn't it?

the question im asking..

"ARE YOU AFRAID TO FIGHT FOR WHAT YOU WANT?"
IF NOT...

I DARE YOU TO GO GET YOURS...
